Ghetto Gourmet | The Sunrise Fusion Brunch

I love to cook and what I love most about it is finding random items in my fridge and pantry and creating nice, sometimes healthy meals for myself. Every now and then I share with friends but now I’m willing to share my creations with everyone. These meals are often inspired by a mixture between boredom and intense hunger for a home cooked meal. This was an easy yet satisfying meal and you can do it too! Be on the look out for more recipes and meal ideas from ‘Ghetto Gourmet.’

Time estimation: 25 minutes

What You’ll Need:

Pork chops
2 eggs
Corn on the cob
Pillsbury Homestyle Biscuits
2 slices of American cheese
Grape jelly
DASH original seasoning
Seasoned salt
Soy Sauce
Dales Seasoning Marinade

What To Do:

Season your chops in Dale’s Seasoning, DASH, seasoned salt, and soy sauce before sautéing your pork chops on a griddle or skillet.

Prepare your eggs how you prefer them with your breakfast. Above you see I prepared scrambled eggs with 2 slices of American cheese mixed in. I also took the pork scraps left on the griddle and mixed them in the scrambled eggs to give them a burst of flavor.

The easiest part of the meal will be the corn on the cob. Boil the cobs for about 20 minutes and sprinkle a few dashes of your seasonings into the boiling pot. Let the cobs sit and soak up the flavor for another 10 minutes.

Your biscuits will take around 12 minutes to bake so make sure you put these in the oven according to the rest of the meal so that they’re fresh. I used grape jelly.

Enjoy!
